Steve’s Toy boxes , well actually he made them for his sons

Steve has made a couple of toy boxes for his children.

They are made from beech have raised and fielded panels, being beech they are hard enough to stand the inevitable knocks they will receive in use.

I really like Steve’s use of stain on the panels, harder wearing than paint but still allowing the grain to show through whilst giving the vibrant colours that children are attracted to.
